Matthew was formerly a teacher at Freeland High School in Freeland, Michigan and an assistant principal at H.H. Dow High School in Midland, Michigan.  In Matthew's current administrative role with Central Michigan SMTC at Central Michigan University, he continues to work with K-12 educators and establish relationships with state-wide educational organizations while working on STEM related projects.

After he receives his Ed.D.in Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University, he aspires to continue in administrative roles in higher education or to become a faculty member in higher education.
