Beverly Herron

Beverly has devoted her work in education to becoming a stronger teacher and an advocate for diverse learners. Beginning as a high school cross-category teacher she has come full circle becoming a highly qualified teacher of History, Language Arts/Literature and Math. After spending over 10 years in the classroom, she achieved a M. A. in Educational Administration.  Her transition to an administrative role allowed her to have a greater impact on student performance and growth using a more holistic approach.  Her classroom experience and knowledge provided the fundamental basis from which she trained, assisted, and managed certified and classified staff in Pre-K through 8th grade.  Following a short break, Beverly returned to the classroom as a middle school classroom, working both as an inclusion and lead classroom teacher in an urban charter school.  It is from this position she has made the decision to relocate and change her career path.

In her new phase of life Beverly anticipates her love for teaching and impacting the learning of diverse learners will remain a constant.  While she is eager to spend quality time with her family and granddaughters basking in the blazing sun of the West, she continues to be a lifelong learner and is committed to sharing her knowledge and experience to help others.
