Jason has been an educator for 16 years, 9 as a technology and engineering teacher and 7 as an administrator.  He has worked in a variety of settings.  Some schools had a lot of racial diversity, while others have a lot of economic diversity, or both.  He specifically has experience teaching at the middle and high school levels.  He is a firm believer that teachers must make meaningful connections with their students to ensure they get the most out of the class.

He earned his Doctorate in Education from Aurora University and has earned two other graduate degrees from Ball State and Lewis University. He is a published author and is an award winning administrator.  He is currently on the national board of directors for the International Technology and Engineering Education Association as the Director of Region 2 and is the current Past President of the Illinois Career and Technical Administrators.
